Welcome to the information page for theWebsite
The web site was designed to provide information about the club and events. Some of the links are still under construction and as the information is provided to me I will post it. There is one link that I hope will be useful to all members and that is the Subject Board. The Subject Board was designed by Foothill.net and could be the most useful link of all it is similiar to the Public Forum page on the National site. Foothill.net normally charges for this service but has offered it to us for the next year without charge to see if it would be of any value to us. Any member that has information or needs information about their car (such as how to repair the electric windows) can post their question on the Subject Board and those with technical know-how can post an answer for all to see. As the time goes by the Subject Board can become a list of problems and solutions to which members can refer, unlike techtalk@rroc.org where it is e-mailed and then lost forever. The Subject Board can be there for members to refer to for years to come. The Subject Board will allow you to run a key word search for your trouble. If the question has already been asked and answered a complete thread will be available.

I would hope that any member that has questions or suggestions would e-mail me webmaster@rrocncr.org or call me @ (530) 367-2584.

E-mail Just a bit of etiquette about sending e-mail. Always respond at the top of the page. E-mail is designed to make it easier to read if you read from the bottom up. Notice after each response a > will be added to the previous text and then >> will be added to the next response so if you respond to some one and the they respond to you each writing one above the other it would read.

No you can't borrow it!
>Can I borrow it?
>>Yes
>>> Joe do you have a car?

Never use capital letters except at the beginning of a sentence. This is akin to shouting. Some explanation points are OK if you want to make sure everyone knows that you are energetic about your message. Always stick to the subject. People come to the Board to read about this subject only. We will lose people if the subject wanders to politics or people's kids or vacations, even though some may be interested in that. You can always begin a personal email conversation with someone you may meet on the Subject Board by exchanging email addresses. Always be kind. Never say anything hurtful. These messages are archived. You are responsible for your own words.
